Link a chat
Open Settings → Connections and choose Connect on Telegram. Open the link in Telegram and press Start; the dialog closes on the new connection once Telegram has confirmed it. Use Add to a group to add the bot to a group and link it in the same step.
For a channel, add the bot as an administrator that can post messages, then post the command the dialog shows in the channel. Return to the action and select the connection.
Write the message
The Message is sent as HTML. Telegram supports bold, italic, underline, strikethrough, code, preformatted blocks, links and quotes, written as tags. Values you insert with templates are escaped automatically, so a token name containing < or & cannot break the message.
The counter shows the length Telegram will count. A message over the limit is cut with an ellipsis. A tag Telegram does not support is reported under the field and the test run shows the action as failing.

Test run shows the rendered message without sending. A real run records Telegram's answer on the action. If the bot was blocked or removed from the chat, the connection is disconnected and the flows using it stop with that reason until it is reconnected.
Telegram limits how fast one bot can send: about one message a second to a chat and twenty a minute to a group. Sends are paced to stay within that; a flow that fires faster is delivered in order, slightly later.
