Connect and choose a team
Open Settings → Connections and connect Linear by signing in, or paste an API key where signing in is not available. Set a default team on the connection's page, or type a team key on the action. A key the connection cannot see is refused with its name.
Select the connection on the Linear action in the designer.
Write the issue
Title and Description take templates. The description is Markdown. Choose a priority or leave it at none. Test run shows the issue as it would be filed without filing it.

Later actions on the path can read {{ actions.linear_1.identifier }} and {{ actions.linear_1.url }} — a Slack message that says which issue was filed, for example.
An expired sign-in or a revoked key is recorded on the run; reconnect under Settings → Connections.
