Publish text or a reply from your connected X account.

Configure the post

Connect X in Settings → Connections, then select the connection on Post to X. Fill in Post. Leave Reply to empty for a new post, or enter a post ID to reply.

Only text is supported in this version. An image URL in the text does not attach an image.

Example. Choose the posting account and review the rendered length in the app. Leave Reply to empty to publish a new post.Changes stay in this example. Nothing is saved or sent.

Check the rendered length

The counter uses the rendered post and X’s weighted 280-character limit; links count as 23 characters. A long event value can make a template too long even if its source text looks short.

Test run checks the post without publishing. It does not prove that X will accept the post or that the connection is still authorized.

Use the published result

Later actions can read {{ actions.x_post_1.id }} and {{ actions.x_post_1.url }}. To build a reply chain, set a second Post to X action’s Reply to to the earlier post’s id.

Expired authorization, rate limits, duplicate content, and rejected posts can cause failures. Read the run reason before retrying or changing the text.
