Choose chains and units
Choose Gas price, select chains, and set a condition using the gas field you intend to watch. Base fee and total gas price are different fields; inspect the example and use gwei for the corresponding thresholds.
Each selected chain has its own alert state. A threshold on Ethereum does not suppress a qualifying alert on another selected chain.
Re-arm and cooldown
Gas alerts use the same re-arm margin and cooldown controls as token price alerts. Defaults are 0.5% and one hour.
For a ≤ 10 gwei condition, gas must rise above 10.05 gwei to clear the margin before another downward crossing can qualify. The cooldown must also have elapsed.
The first observation establishes a baseline without firing. If the condition is already true at that point, it must first clear the re-arm margin and then become true again. After re-arming, a qualifying condition held through the end of the cooldown can fire when the cooldown expires.
Estimate versus final cost
An available transfer cost estimate describes a simple native-currency transfer. It is not a quote for a swap, mint, or arbitrary contract call. Actual cost depends on the transaction and conditions when it is included.
Include the sample time when reporting gas, and verify that the selected chain has a recent observation.
