Actions

Slack

Send an event-based message to a channel.

Connect and configure

Open Settings → Connections and connect Slack. Follow the connection dialog, then return to the action and select that connection.

Fill in Channel and Message. Invite the connected app to the destination channel, including private channels you want it to post in. Access to the workspace alone is not enough.

Write the message

The Message supports Slack-style formatting and event templates. Copy field paths from the event and earlier action outputs.

Check the result

Test run shows the rendered message without posting. Check a real run to confirm delivery. If it fails, inspect the reason and verify the connection, channel, and app membership.

To include an Agent answer, put Agent above Slack and insert {{ actions.agent_1.text }}. The dry test does not generate that answer, so it cannot fully preview this message.
